::::: BACKSTORY / PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :::::

Back in 2019 we worked on a yoyo project (BMC) with Terry Orchard, which later lead to collaborating on some of Terry's personal designs. Flash forward about 3 years, we prototyped 3 designs, released some samples of each yoyo back in April, and we're pleased to bring you our first completed design, the Possum!!! With it's slightly undersized diameter and slightly stretched width, this rounded over V shape could be just what you didn't know you were looking for! It's ridiculously cozy size and comparatively wide catch zone makes this thing refreshingly fun :)

Condensed thoughts from Terry:
The Possum cutaway profile was inspired by the button nose and floppy ears of small mammals. Given that, it has an undersized diameter and fits comfortably in a pocket or EDC bag.

Condensed thoughts from Jeremy:
The Possum is unlike many other undersize throws, as it still feels super light and nimble on the string, and it's very capable. It plays very fast and has incredible catchability (feeling pretty wide compared to it's smaller diameter.

:::::: Brief overview of the final Possum revisions ::::::

If you enjoyed the prototype, you'll really dig the refined feel of this final version. The original visual aesthetic and dimensions remain unchanged, however we have made the following improvements: adjustments to the pad groove depth to take standard 19mm pads, which now sit flush instead of recessed (improving binds); we swapped in a high quality U shaped bearing to improve spin times, minimize string drag, and just sorta improves the fun factor; we also increased the overall mass by about 1 gram (evenly distributed) in order to help increase some power/spin time without compromising the overall pleasantness we've been loving from this unique throw.

Overall, these changes boost performance and quality while trying to not jeopardize what we already loved. This thing feels kinda undersized in the hand and then kinda wide and full-sized on the string, and within a few tosses you'l notice that it feels pretty perfect - like a void has just been filled in your throw life ;)
