Formerly known as CS118, this Polyesque blend is super special to us, and we’d been working on perfecting it for about a year before it’s first prototype release. Shortly after we had the formula dialed in (2023), we ended up using it for what became Dunk Laces. And after a couple of Dunk Lace releases, we suffered a thread stock supply issue, which forced us to discontinue the production of not only Dunk Laces, but it also caused a "stand-still" with the plans we had for CS118. Unfortunately, the CS118 formula was pulled for over a year.

After a couple years of searching for replacement materials and lots of rigorous testing, we've been able to recreate this blend with even greater care. The Polyesque formulation has gone through countless iterations, but we're incredibly proud that it's finally become our primary poly/nylon string formula. It’s a 70/30 ratio, leaning more on the side of poly, but it still has a fair bit of softness that can only be achieved by folding in a small amount of our new plush nylon material. This is going to have a very similar feel to our former Smoothie Edition and CS50 blends, but Polyesque is a bit tighter and longer in length (promoting a sportier performance).
