***The 08/07/20 batch will appear different in color than the previous month because the neon dye formulas have been fully updated in order to intensify the color. Colors will appear more dense in low light, and much brighter than usual in sunlight. The feel is a bit smoother and the brightness should stay even longer than our previous neons :) ***

THICKNESS: [regs/thick hybrid]
FORUMLA: [nylon + polyester core thread]
LENGTH: [47" - unstretched OR 55" stretched]

These started out as a personal side project, but turned into another obsession. Whether or not you're into nylon strings, these will be a treat to at least check out.

***If you've tried out our previous SkyLine PRIME strings, these feel similar, but majorly improved. Prime was pretty amazing already, but we had issues with rejecting a high number of defective strings. We pulled them from production for several months while we worked hard to reinvent them. We needed to modify our string rig to better accommodate our new approach to making them, we increased the initial length by roughly 4", we upgraded the recipe with new materials, and modified the ratio of the nylon to poly balance. Our dying/conditioning process remains very similar and retains a similar feel on the hands, but the performance boost is incredible.***

NOTE: This dye process/treatment does reduce the string length by a few inches, and starts them off quite stretchy. We highly recommend giving these a nice stretch before lacing up, and after a few tosses (or a couple of minutes), the elasticity should settle in and even out.

Why are these so expensive? Well, they are much more labor intensive to make and the material is nearly 70% more expensive than bulk poly. They are made in smaller batches to ensure consistency, and there's a great deal of individual string handling. From the initial make, to dying, inspecting and packaging - the entire process is quite involved. Part of the final stage of the process is to hand stretch and inspect each string, individually.

GOAL: to create a premium performing nylon + poly hybrid string that is less slick and less insanely whippy than our previous SkyLine blends. Slacks and whips are much more predicable and feel more natural than with our previous SkyLine blends as well.

DISCLAIMER: BE CAREFUL - SKYLINE NYLON FINGER LOOPS CAN BE SLIPPY - DON'T CHUCK YOUR YOYO ACCROSS THE ROOM!!! WE ADVISE THAT YOU LEARN THE DOUBLE SLIPKNOT FINGER LOOP TECHNIQUE OR USE A STRING ROSIN BEFORE STRINGING UP.
