These utilize our Kot-n SE build and twist method, but are actually made with a hybrid cotton/poly blend and with experimental colors (specifically for Fixed Axle February). These will not be made in regular rotation ... HOWEVER, they will be available tonight @ 6pm MT / 8pm ET !!!

We originally made these for the F.A.F. 2023 prize pool, but we love them so much that we’ve decided to start offering them annually (exclusively during FAF).

If you've played our [kot-n] SE, you'll notice that these play very similarly, however these materials (in color) have no longer been available in 100% cotton. That being said, we found ourselves needing to reformulate the string with a cotton/poly hybrid material. And while it’s not super common to find these hybrid materials available for fixed axle play, we’ve done a bunch of testing with a good number of fixies and we’ve experienced zero issues with them so far. In fact, they’ve proven to be even more durable and have a softer feel over the previous SE/color version.

The dyed cotton/poly threads do add a bit of weight/density and do take a bit of extra time for break-in, depending on the type of fixed axle response system you have. We've found that adding a bit of bee balm at the fold of the string will significantly speed up the break-in period, if you like that kind of thing ;)
