While the way we make our Poly Classic blend has improved over the years, the materials and colors we use for this particular string set has remained unchanged. Playing Slushy Edition is like taking a trip down memory lane and enjoying every minute of that twisty ride. Slushy’s strike a good balance between fun and function and have been a crowd favorite for those looking into boutique poly strings for the first time.

This blend is our original "classic" 100% polyester formula. Poly Classic's are composed of a blend of various polyester thread types and are spun using a traditional string making technique. If you already enjoy a pure poly string, but you’re itching for something a little different, these will feel familiar to what you might already be accustomed to while giving you hints of something special. These are composed of a unique ZipLine recipe (our core-thread blend). One highlight of this blend is our use of a specific type of poly-core thread; when blended with traditional polyester, it helps the string be a bit more unique in a way of strength and extended performance. The core-thread blend also improves the string’s ability to perform tight binds and promotes a nice slack shape, even after hours of play.

Thoughts from Jeremy: "Slushy Edition is where it all began for us and it was our very first set of strings to release. The original focus was to make fun colorways that stood out and had fun names. The theme was inspired by a slushy powered space craft from the movie “Home” (a family favorite). The goal was for each individual string to be uniquely composed of multiple colors but would appear as a pleasant solid color while in motion. We've come such a long way since the birth of the original Slushy Edition, but this blend is here to stay. Slushy has often been referred to as our "flagship string," as it was the starting point for how we began our journey into string making, and it can definitely hold it's own weight in a crowd of multi-colored polyester strings."
